My own view on your privacy. 

I place a strong emphasis on my commitment to keeping your personal and business information safe.  It’s a basic principle of respect.  All of my customers usually fall into the B2B sector, meaning that I keep almost no personal information beyond their name.  I never pass on information to third parties, unless required to do so by law.


How I collect information on tdfmedia.com

I use a contact form on this site to enable you to contact me.

The form requests your name and email address so that I can respond to your enquiry.

My website uses Google Analytics and Google Signals, which collects anonymous information about use of the site.   This allows me to monitor the site’s performance.

How we store your personal information

All information you supply is stored virtually. 

When you contact me through my website, the information is stored in my email software – Outlook (Office 365).  Any follow up email correspondence is transmitted and stored on servers at Microsoft.

I don’t currently operate a newsletter or mailing list for this website.  Any changes to this will appear here in the future.

I manage my business using a CRM (Nimble), where I may store information about any contact between us.

If you request a quote or we do business together, this is processed through accounts software (Kashflow).  In order to process invoices and tax relevant information, this data may be kept for 7 years.

If you call me by phone then your contact information may be stored by me. 

Information is kept only as long as is necessary.  As a sole trader, I am the only person with access to any information collected.


Your data protection rights

Under data protection law, you have rights including:

Your right to rectification – You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
